• Advising SSE on the offshore grid connection arrangements for Phase II of the Arklow Bank Wind Farm (which has a projected capacity of 800MW), along with the agreement for sale of the offshore connection assets to EirGrid, who will be the owner of Ireland’s offshore transmission infrastructure.

• Advised EirGrid on a long term services agreement with Hitachi Energy for the East West Interconnector (EWIC), which connects the electricity transmission grids of Ireland and Great Britan and is key national infrastructure. The EWIC provides energy for 300,000 homes, strengthens security of supply, and facilitates increased renewables operation to decarbonise the transmission systems.

• Advised a number of wind farm and solar farm developers on the Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS) terms and conditions, including on the potential withdrawal of projects from RESS 1 and moving to corporate PPA arrangements.

• Advised EirGrid on security of supply initiatives for Winter 2023/24, including services agreements for the procurement of temporary emergency generation and a bespoke form of Connection Offer letter.

• Advised Iberdrola Australia on the turbine supply agreement with General Electric for the Flyers Creek Wind Farm, a 145 MW wind project in New South Wales, Australia. Also negotiated the civil and electrical balance of plant contracts for the same project, which involved parallel contract negotiations with 5 shortlisted tenderers.

• Advised Infigen Energy on contracts with Tesla Motors for the construction, commissioning and maintenance of the Lake Bonney BESS, a 25 MW / 52 MWh battery energy storage system in South Australia.

• Advised Infigen Energy on the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract and operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement with Vestas for the Cherry Tree Wind Farm, a 60 MW wind project in Victoria, Australia.

• Advised Infigen Energy on long term O&M agreements with Vestas for Infigen’s fleet of wind turbines across New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia.

• Advised Fotowatio Renewable Ventures on the EPC contract, power purchase agreement and financing for the Goonumbla Solar Farm, a 58 MWac solar farm in New South Wales, Australia.
