Kate advises on all aspects of healthcare and medical law. Her practice primarily focuses on the defence of medical negligence High Court actions. She has also acted in cases before a statutory Tribunal. Kate advises major hospitals, medical practitioners and their indemnifiers.
Kate acts in malpractice claims including complex high-value catastrophic claims and birth injury claims. She also regularly acts on behalf of clinical laboratories in the defence of multiple claims arising from the alleged misreporting of cervical smear slides.
