Kate advises on all aspects of healthcare and medical law. Her practice primarily focuses on the defence of medical negligence High Court actions. She has also acted in cases before a statutory Tribunal. Kate advises major hospitals, medical practitioners and their indemnifiers.
Kate acts in malpractice claims including fatal injuries, complex high-value catastrophic claims and birth injury claims. She also advises a US laboratory in the defence of multiple claims arising from the alleged misreporting of cervical smear slides.
