We would like to congratulate all 120 graduates who have been longlisted for the 2024 RDS Visual Art Awards.
We are pleased to continue our support of the Awards, which are one of the most important platforms for visual art graduates in Ireland. They offer a prize fund of more than €40,000, as well as vital exposure for emerging visual artists.
For the past eight years, we have sponsored the RDS Mason Hayes & Curran LLP Centre Culturel Irlandais Residency Award. Our award provides the winner with full-time access to accommodation and studio space for three months in the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris and a cash prize.
The next stage of adjudication is in progress, with the judges currently deciding who will partake in the exhibition at the Royal Hibernian Academy Gallery (The RHA) later this year.
The artists selected will work collaboratively on a collective exhibition, curated this year by artist Colin Martin. The exhibition will take place at the RHA Gallery from 22 November 2024 to 18 January 2025.
Supporting emerging artists is a core pillar of our CSR strategy. Read more about our support of visual arts or find out more about the RDS Visual Art Awards.
