We would like to congratulate all 109 graduates who have been longlisted for the 2023 RDS Visual Art Awards.

We are proud to once again support the Awards, which are one of the most important platforms for visual art graduates in Ireland.

Longlisted artists can apply now for a chance to be included in the annual exhibition, curated this year by artist Elaine Hoey. It will take place at IMMA in the West Wing Galleries from 8 December to 3 March.

The Awards also offer a prize fund of more than €30,000, as well as vital exposure for emerging visual artists.

We encourage longlisted artists to apply for the RDS Mason Hayes & Curran LLP Centre Culturel Irlandais Residency Award, which is now in its seventh year. The Award provides the winner with full-time access to a room and studio space for three months in the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris. The 2022 winner, Myfanwy Frost Jones, has recently commenced her residency, where she is working towards a new body of work for an upcoming solo exhibition.
