Reports Legal focus on the work done by International law firms on behalf of their commercial clients. The issue looks at what is driving Irish law firms to expand their footprint in London.
In explaining why being in London really matters, he says that “Our London office serves as a base from which we service the Irish needs of our UK-based clients. We have a large base of such clients across all sectors, and very strong relationships with UK firms, as well as US/international law firms with a London presence. Some have entered the Irish market, most haven’t.
We have relationships with firms and get referrals on a practice area basis, generally because we are the leading Irish firm in those areas.”
