New Privacy & Data Security Partner at Mason Hayes & Curran LLP
We are pleased to announce the appointment of James Fenelon as a partner in the firm’s Privacy & Data Security team.
James works with organisations to help them solve their data privacy issues, particularly in the areas of the GDPR, e-Privacy laws and online marketing. He has particular experience advising on the relationship between marketing and privacy, including ad tech and analytics technologies, cookies, online profiling, device recognition technologies, and custom audience initiatives.
His clients include major tech corporations and other data driven companies and he regularly represents clients before regulators and in litigation relating to privacy and data security. He has acted as external Data Protection Officer for leading global analytic and ad tech companies, and has also advised clients on large scale multi-jurisdictional security breaches.

Before joining the firm, James worked with several major London law firms. A graduate of UCD and the University of Cambridge, he also speaks regularly at conferences on data protection and privacy issues.
