A new book, Irish Securities Law, authored by Paul Egan SC, Mason Hayes & Curran LLP, provides a guide to all the relevant law and regulation for offerings, listings and continuing obligations in Ireland. The book contains the full text of Irish regulations and official guidance, and is an invaluable guide for anyone that needs to use Ireland as their hub for listing. The book, published by Bloomsbury Professional, has just been launched by Daryl Byrne, CEO of Euronext Dublin, the Irish Stock Exchange.
Paul is a senior consultant in Mason Hayes & Curran LLP and former Chair of its Corporate Department. He practises primarily in public company transactions, corporate governance and regulatory matters. Paul is a founding member and current Chair of the Company Law Review Group (CLRG), the statutory body responsible for advising the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment on matters of company law.
Paul is author of several books on company law and securities law, including Irish Securities Law. He was successfully re-elected to the Law Society Council in 2021 and was a recent member of the Irish Equity Market Migration Group. He has advised on some of the largest IPOs and takeovers in the Irish market over the last four decades.
