We are pleased to have advised Highfield Solar on securing project financing for two new solar PV projects in Ireland, with a combined capacity of 132 MWp.

Highfield Solar, a joint venture between ib vogt, Highfield Energy, and Aura Power, has secured a further €160 million in financing for its Irish solar assets.

Eoin Cassidy, Energy Sector Lead Partner, said: “This financing marks a significant milestone in Ireland's renewable energy journey. Having advised Highfield Solar on previous successful project financings, including the 93 MWp Gaskinstown solar PV plant, we are delighted to see their continued growth and impact. These projects will make a substantial contribution to Ireland’s climate goals.”

The projects, successful in the Government’s second Renewable Electricity Support Scheme auction (RESS 2), will not only generate clean, renewable energy but also provide significant community benefits. Approximately €100,000 in annual funding will be allocated to local initiatives over the next 15 years.
