Four New Built Environment Sector Partners
As demand intensifies across the built environment sector for quality housing, office space and commercial assets, so too does the need for excellent legal advice. The growth of our cities and surrounding areas has resulted in the Government and other stakeholders adopting more innovative approaches to building, urban development and infrastructure projects. To further enhance our legal offering and respond to diverse client needs in this sector, we have appointed four new partners Áine Quigley, Colm Farrell, Cara Cooke and Hannah Devoy.
Commenting on the promotions Head of our Built Environment team Jamie Fitzmaurice said, “Our multi-disciplinary team is uniquely positioned to provide the full range of legal services required in the Built Environment sector. From acting for clients on high profile real estate, infrastructure and construction mandates to successfully defending their interests in complex disputes, our holistic approach ensures our client needs are fully met in this critical sector for Ireland.”
Áine Quigley said, “Working with both public and private sector real estate clients is hugely rewarding and ensures that I can provide a rounded view and advice the moment it is needed.”
Colm Farrell added, “Property related disputes can be extremely complex and I am pleased that my strategic approach to managing issues on behalf of clients has been recognised and I can continue to provide them with in-depth support.”
Cara Cooke commented, “Over the last number of years, we have seen a large increase in corporate investments and deal volume in the sector. It is extremely satisfying helping clients achieve the optimum outcome no matter how big or small the transaction.”
Hannah Devoy said, “Starting as an intern with the firm over 10 years ago means my practice has developed alongside the needs and requirements of our construction clients. This enables me to take a proactive approach to evaluating risk and to successfully act for clients in complex construction disputes.”
