Advised NWPF on Transfer of its Disability Services into the HSE
We are pleased to have acted for North West Parents and Friends Association (NWPF), a Sligo and Leitrim based voluntary organisation which provided person-centred services and supports for people with disabilities and their families, in the transfer of its services to the HSE. This transfer will ensure the continuation of the provision of these services under the management of the HSE’s Community Healthcare Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Monaghan, Sligo (CH CDLMS) Disability Services.
Our team including Eimear Lyons, Oliver Fitzgerald and Ger Connolly was led by Alice Murphy, Charity and Not-for Profit Partner, who has previously written about the merits of merging with likeminded charity organisations. That article will be of interest to healthcare charities and other charitable organisations who are considering a collaboration, partnership or merger.
We are seeing a noticeable increase in charity mergers and collaborations of this nature, which can result in a better outcome for all stakeholders and particularly for service users/beneficiaries.
For more information on charity mergers, speak to a member of our Charity and Not-for-Profit team.
